After suffering a major Stroke in 2016, I had to give up a thirty-year career working in London and Southern Africa. 2019 saw a second Stroke and, as part of my recovery, I started to practice self-therapy through Creative Art.
Over the last 36 months, this has developed in line with my recovery and progressed, from editing photos to creating digital drawings using my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, as my recovery allowed. During this time, I also began to undertake Drawing Commissions from my friends in return for charity donations.
In February 2022, I suffered my third major Stroke. As a result, I lost almost all the progress from my previous six years of recovery. Whilst in the hospital, I began to think for the first time about transitioning my creative art therapy into a small business to sell my drawing and help raise awareness of unseen disabilities and mental health.
